Exactly a year ago today I started a photography project. Dubbed "Project 61", the real name remained a quiet mystery (the real name penned in loopy script across the margin of my moleskin notebook) to my friends and family for the entire duration. I'm not one to keep many secrets. Written, the ink smudged by fingers, tears and sweat: "The Times He Never Said 'I Love You'". I wish I could have taken exactly 365 photographs, but for some reason all I have sitting on my desk is 61. I don't have any reason as to why I don't have more. Looking up at the ceiling she smiles. It winks back at her, the surface lurid with cracks and caked mold. She moves, lifting her wiry frame from the bathroom floor. She is in search for something.
